Transgender people should use the bathroom that matches their gender identity. It is unsafe for trans* people to go into the restroom that matches the gender they were born as. If a trans* male (ftm) were to go into the women’s restroom looking and passing as a cis male it could be very dangerous and/or chaotic. Women would most likely panic because you don’t always know when someone is trans* and they would think it’s just a man. If a cis male in the women’s restroom is bad, why isn’t it the same for trans* men? It can also trigger dysphoria. A trans* woman going into the men’s room can be very harmful to her mental health.
