Should There Be Strict Rules In Middle School

Teen dating has been around for a while now and parents need to be more careful with their children as time is going by. I believe that parents should set rules for their children when it comes to dating because teens don’t know what they’re doing and they need rules to set them on the right path. Parents, though, should not go overboard with these rules either. Parents should also set guidelines for themselves because they can get really protective and set rules that are just too strict and possibly exaggerated. Teens at the age of middle school need to have stronger rules, i believe, because they are younger and wouldn’t know how to handle the heartbreak and drama relationship might bring. As soon as high school comes around, though, parents should ease the rules and let their teens decide something’s on their own because they are entering an age where they are soon going to have to make decisions on their own. …show more content…
Parents should set rules that allow them to talk to one another but also keeps them from doing anything like kissing. Middle school kids should live their middle school year’s single with no worry other than graduating and heading off to high school. Kids at that age who are in a relationship, though, should think about the possible consequences and rethink the whole relationship thing. Parents should keep tabs on their kids but they shouldn't invade their privacy either. Parents who invade their children's privacy will just put them at risk of losing their trust in one another leading the teen to hide everything they do to their
