Should there or should there not be a limit on the terms for presidency? This question has gone back and forth for a long time. Some arugue that it can give too much power to an individual, others say that the people have a right to choose who they want as a president even if it means there should be more terms. I for one, think that giving a person the right to more terms is the correct decision as long as the people agree on it. That being said just because a person gets more terms doesnt mean they have full control over a country. As long as the people agree that they want the same president again for their third, or forth, or fifth term then i believe the elected has a right to continue. The people have a right as citizens to chose who they wish to be represented by. The people should also be able to overthrough the …show more content…
What they dont realize is that they will not be president forever and the people will be the ones deciding who gets to be president every 4 years. If a president ever does become corrupt and manipulative the citizens have a right to change the president. If a better candidate comes along the people can always change their votes towards that certain individual. There will be balance between each branch to keep everyone from becoming to powerful. By the 22nd amendment no president should have more than 2- 4 year terms, but we as citizens have the right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We have the right to elect a new or previous president. I believe that in order for this country to improve, a good president should be able to get elected as many times as the people decide. If we do not step foward, we will stay in the same place. We need to make a change in order to succede. Maybe we will even make amends or accomplish something we never thought
