The death penalty has always been very important in many first world countries, and cities. Its implementation has been regarded as a necessary punishment for criminals that have done something unforgivable or done something against the law; for example, killing has always been the main example of a crime that people have been sentenced to death for. The US, China and Saudi Arabia countries where world leaders have authority, still use the death penalty and see it as a tool to scare and control the people to stop doing major crimes, but countries like the UK and most of Europe have stopped this death penalty due to it being too inhumane and savage as they think people should not be killed by other people, whatever the case.

He was sent to prison for life and didn’t end up going to prison for life he ended up getting released early in 2010 and within weeks of his release he killed two defenceless people by stabbing them and leaving them in his flat bathtub. There are four other examples of different killers who had the life sentence and got let out early in the UK, these people ended up getting out and killing more people just like Andrew Dawson did.
