All service men and women should be allowed to keep the dogs they have trained for the military. The military needs to understand that those dogs are important to the service men/women. The dogs helped the service men through the harsh obstacles of war. The men and women think of this dogs not only as a partner but family. The trainers put so much time and love into the dogs that they should be able to keep them. As the says “He’s like my quiet partner.” Also “Man and dog bonded right away, like they were made for each other.” this piece of text evidence shows how much the men and women care for their trainees. This shows how highly the people think of their dogs. These animals are not pieces of equipment to them.
The dogs went off to war with the men and women. The dogs got them through hard times.

It is also very expensive to train feed and care for the dogs. By letting the trainers keep the dogs they are just throwing away the money. However, that is rewarding the men and women who fought for their country. Also the military could just buy more dogs. Others might think “The Military has used so much of their money to buy and train the dogs so why should the trainers get to keep them.” I guess people could view it that way I mean all the Service men and women did was defend the people's freedom. They certainly do not deserve a dog (their family) of all things. Don't the service men understand the dogs are the military’s property. They had to use their money to buy the dogs.
All service men and women should be able to keep the dogs they trained. The dogs are everything to them. They are their partners, their friends, their family. The service men fought for the country why can they not have one simple thing out of it. Just because the military bought them doesn’t mean the trainers should have to suffer. So, Yes all of the service men and women should be allowed to keep the dogs they

Gangs in particular have pit bulls as guard dogs and they train their dogs to be mean and to attack. Does anyone ever stop and think that these dogs can get out of the owners house who doesn’t care about the dog and go attack people, or if the owner ends up selling the dog. Every day many dogs are put down because dogs have been attacking humans, and of course everyone wants to blame the dog. People need to see that the owner is to blame for not disciplining the dog right. Del Crookes states “nearly 5,000 dogs have been seized by the police in the last three years because they’re suspected of being a banned breed.”…

There are many arguments for animal rights already, and putting them in war will only increase the outrage. These animals also possess special traits than humans do not have, such as strength, the sense of smell and the ability to fly. A soldier is not defined as a human that goes into battle, but just one that serves in the war. They should be allowed in war and accepted as a…

The dog lost in a dogfight, his owner lost $25,000, so he beat his dog and left him in the street to die. Dogfighting is a huge problem, and needs to be considered animal cruelty. I disagree with this view, that putting animals in dangerous situations because, the animals that are enrolled currently in the Armed Forces are known to be treated well and they have not had that many if any injuries with these animals so far. The animals like dolphins and Sea lions that are enrolled in the Armed Forces have been treated well throughout their term and the Armed Forces even said it themselves that they are treated very well. Not only that but there have been there hadn't been that many accidents recorded because the currently enrolled animals have been trained to the point of which they are able to avoid dangerous situations. Many people tend to believe that these animals are put through hard tests and when it comes down to the real thing not all of them are prepared, but I disagree because the Armed Forces do everything to train them. Specifically, the navy hires special trainers to train and take of the animals and prepare them for situations.…
