“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” (Constitution) These words are a symbol of what our country was built on and resonate our timeline as a country to keep this country great. It has come into question lately on truly how far should our second amendment stretch. Should we be allowed to own guns and if so how big and what restrictions should be put on it? Guns are not the problem, the people who have them are. Responsible law abiding citizens should not be punished because some crazy or just plain messed up person decides to use a weapon to do some crazy stuff and we have no security to ensure it doesn’t happen. The next issue is how the media portrays all of these events that happen. I believe that our second amendment should not be tied down or restricted in any way, shape, or form. Also, it is a right given to us by our fore fathers and by taking that away you demean everything this great nation stands for. Just because things are outlawed it doesn’t mean bad guys won’t get their hands on guns, but by making it illegal you let the bad guys know everyone else doesn’t have one.
