The Second Amendment needs to be rescinded because it is outdated. When the Second Amendment was created in 1791 we didn’t have the types of guns we have today such as machine guns, AR-15’s or MK-47’s. The most advanced guns available during this time were: Girandoni Air Rifle, 22 round magazine, an air reservoir sufficient for 30 shots, reloaded via horse or human-powered pump. These are not weapons made for maximum fatalities. So, for the framers of the constitution to factor in more advanced weapons being used to harm one another was not on their priority list. During this time the framers were solely worried about making sure the government didn’t become tyrannical and try to remove all weapons from citizens. Gun-rights advocates insist
