I believed that the police department have to be aware of the different cultures within a multicultural communities. An officer's duty is to help and create a trusting bond between the communities, whether it is a multicultural communities or not. If an officer is not aware of the different culture custom within a communities then it would create a friction between the multicultural communities. This does not only will cause conflict but also a mistrusted between the police department and the public. Which is why it is important for the police department to be responsibility aware of the different custum within a culture.
