This is true, but the second amendment of the U.S constitution did not establish the right to bear and keep arms it only recognized that right. In fact, the U.S constitution does not establish any “natural” rights is only recognized them. Therefore, that right to a U.S citizen is decided by the courts. The courts will determine if the individual(s) is capable mentally and physically of carrying and owning a firearm. Criminals and those convicted of a felony or other infringements of the law will more than likely be denied access to a gun legally due to their past conviction.
In conclusion, gun control is a very debated topic. But when it comes down to the facts guns are used more to hurt people than to protect or save them. And that is why firearms should be more carefully distributed and why they are too dangerous. As I stated before even children are able to obtain a firearm. Additionally, criminals try to obtain these weapons in many ways legally and illegally. The U.S needs to implant more in-depth background checks, and find ways to catch illegal drug dealers. All in all, that is why I think guns are too
