Prepares the Gun Laws need to change?
Do the gun regulations need to change in America, or remain the way they are today. Gun regulations are the cause of much argument in America, and the best way to resolve the problem is to change the laws so that possessing an illegal firearm carries a very tough prison punishment for first time lawbreakers. Placing more restrictions on gun owners, particularly law-abiding, responsible gun owners will not reduce gun violence.
Furthermore, there are already immeasurable gun control regulations on the books that are just not being imposed; gun control laws do not stop people who truly want guns from getting them. It was the Morning of December 14, 2012, if a 20 year old Adam Lanza was on his way to sandy hook elementary school in the community of Newtown, Connecticut (Barron, 2012, Dolnick & Grtnbaumn, (2012).) Now that Congress has made it harder to buy guns by terminating more or less the loopholes that were out there. One of the loopholes was you were able to buy guns at gun shows with little effort or background check if any. Now people have a resort to other means to buy guns this is mostly in the illegal form, whether this means knows, or unknowing it is still illegal. One of the Illegal means is “Straw purchases” (this is when a person poses as a buyer for a gun that is actually for someone else.) A straw purchaser may perhaps possibly be used, when the real buyer is prohibited from having firearms, such as a convicted felon or an individual who is less than 21 years of age. (Parnell, W.
