All individuals should be treated equally, as no two people are the same. Health care should not entail any inequality in terms of who receives treatment. In Canada this is shown, as all citizens are granted free healthcare. Patients are able to go to the hospital and are seen in a priority order, depending on the conditions. This although is not the same in all countries. In many third world countries, money rules what a person is able to have and not able to have, even in terms of health care. The rich people are able to receive better treatment because they can afford better and luxurious treatments and medications, whereas the poor would not be able to afford what is needed to cure them. In places like Canada, America, London these problems are not as bad, as there is a high level of government support that can be received. Countries such as Sri Lanka, India, and Dubai there is an increase in diseases and bad health problems as people choose to not go to the doctors because of the lack of money they have. Obviously the rich may be able to afford the fees at the hospitals request and through the usage of their wealth, they are able to maintain their health and wellness. As for the poor since they can not afford such luxuries, as a government they are the ones that should be responsible or at least help those who can’t afford such. It is unfair to let poor or those of the less fortunate die because they can not afford the hospital fees. The government should not install a feeling of fear over their citizens in terms of healthcare. Citizens should not have the fear of going to see a health care practitioner due to the lack of money.
