The lungs are a necessary organ in order for humans to thrive and survive, since they are the main star of helping us breathe. Society says that smoking in adolescent years is cool, and acceptable to smoke. The world also says that nothing bad will happen, and addiction is an off-chance. These statements are wrong, since it has been proven that addiction has a higher probability in teens than adults. Society also says that the human body will not actually break down functions and have a harsh reaction to the chemicals and toxins in cigarettes, but that’s a lie. The lungs stop growing, blood gets sticky and hard to pump through veins and the heart, and cancer becomes a very real possibility.
