Should Teenagers Be Allowed For Buy Violent Video Games? Essay
Should teenagers be allowed to buy violent video games? Some people believe that violent video games cause violence in the world, however, conversely other people disagree by saying that films, books, YouTube videos and television shows are more likely to cause violence to happen than violent video games are. I believe that, although video games that are violent may cause some violent acts in younger children, teenagers are more mature and are less likely to do violent acts.
One of my main reasons for saying this is that television programs, films, books and YouTube videos are just as likely, if not more likely to cause violence to happen than violent video games are. They all show much more violent acts than video games do, plus violent video games help dangerous behaviour out as it lets teenagers take all their aggression out on the game instead of harming others in real life. Plus the details of the above are much more horrifying and gory than the games will ever be. Books and even videos contain much more gore than games, with a few exceptions.
On one hand, people say that teenagers should be able to buy violent video games as they do not influence teenagers to turn to doing violent acts.
