Should Teen Drivers Be Raised To 21?

Turning sixteen years old is an exciting time in a teenagers life. They're now eligible for a drivers license. giving them not only freedom but control , something they've yet to expirence. While its a good idea to start teens driving at the age 15 so they're able to get all the practice and expirence they need before receiving a license, driving limitations on teens should be toughened not only to protect teen drivers but the community of the teens as well. Most teens feel they're an adult by the age of 16 but they yet to take on the responsibilities and the behavior as an adult would, some areas more than others although they're many teens who are responsible with most things they do, some teens if not all feel obligated to impress those who take the passenger seat while they're driving. …show more content…
When driving with an adult, teens impress them with good driving and saftey skills. Such as obataining the speed limit, using the blinker when needed, adjusting mirrors, using a seatbelt, ect. As for impressing a friend they take dangerous adrenalin rushed risks, including reckless driving, texting while driving, playing music loud, exceeding the speed limit ect.
