People who disagree with me would probably say that students shouldn’t have to pass a swim test before graduating high school and moving onto college. Their reasons would argue with mine saying that the student might not have children to teach swimming lessons to. Other claims that may counter mine may say that some disasters may never happen in that area where the student lives. The students will probably need to know how to swim because the summers are getting extremely hot and spring break is also getting hotter. Their views are also wrong because almost every adult is going to have children. The fact that disasters may never happen in that area like Clarksdale are true but when the student decides to move or take a vacation to a place where there is plenty of water he or she may never know what the weather will be like. He or she will have to know how to swim in case of an emergency such as losing a personal item like a phone, a book, luggage, and your great grandmother's favorite shawl.
