Should Students Drive To School

Should students be allowed to drive to school? Yes, of course they should, and for a multitude of reasons. Different students lead different lives with different activities. Some students work after school, some have trouble waking up in the morning, some live far away from bus stops, and some have after school activities.

Many students work after school, for some they just want some extra money, for others they are feeding their siblings. If you were to bind these students to a bus schedule, some may lose up to an hour of needed work time. Say the school is halfway between a person’s house and their workplace. Does it not make more sense to let them leave from the school then to drag them throughout the neighborhood for forty minutes, then
