Students Should be allowed to carry Guns on Campus In recent shootings, there was one on June 1st 2016 in Los Angeles, a gunman burst into the UCLA campus, shot and killed an instructor. Another recent shooting was on October 1st 2015 in Oregon, the gunman open fire in Umpqua Community College, killing nine and wounding seven others, afterwards he shot himself. Guns on campus should be allowed because for students to protect themselves and first responders may not be able to reach the attack in time. To better understand why guns should be legal for campuses and students, one must consider the opposite viewpoints. Many testify that legalizing guns will cause more violence through the school.
