Should students be required to take a music, a drama, or an art class? That is asking if students really need to take those classes. However, society thinks that students should not be required to take the stated classes. Students should be required to take a music, a drama, or an art class because one can express his or her feelings, explore a variety of different cultures, and learn a valuable skill with those classes. Taking a music, a drama, or an art classes provides some people with a median to express themselves. This acts as an outlet to people with disorders or who have trouble bonding or making friends. A person may not be able to talk about his day or describe it very well but with a pen or paint brush they thrive and create abstract works of art with a meaning. Music allows society to spill its feelings into a song or melody, and reach a broad audience. With a instrument a person can get distracted from the bad in their life and divert all its attention to the cord or key. In some places society has only experienced their culture. Although, with music, drama, or art one can experience so many different cultures. People can learn how another society made their food, how they ran the country, or how they designed their homes. One can find a painting from many years ago and view how something was done or how the person felt illustrating it. Everywhere is not the same and that is very evident in forms of art, music, or drama. Without those one is limited to their culture and is isolated from the broad spectrum of others.
