In the hand book under bathroom use it says, “ Students are encouraged to use the bathroom facilities before school hours and to ask before the tardy bell rings between classes.” Teachers aspect kids to get their things for that class, go to the bathroom, and make it to their next class in just three minutes. For one sometimes there is a line to go to the bathroom and some classes are a ways away. The average person has to go to the bathroom 4-10 times a day, and teachers think we can hold it all day. I think the rule should be changed to at least two passes for the whole day. Some teachers are good about letting you go but other teachers won’t let you go even if you’re about to pee your pants.

If you just think about it, it is wrong to not let a kid go to the bathroom especially if they maybe need to take a dump. Holding your poop can be very serious and can cause people to get very sick. But it is still okay for teachers to not let us go? I know that not all the teachers are like that but the ones that are should be told to let us go.
There are many legitimate health concerns exacerbated by holding back toilet functions for extended periods. There are also legitimate medical conditions that cause some children to need to go to the toilet more often than others. We really shouldn’t have to have a condition just to be allowed to use the bathroom. You tried to stop kids from having to go to the bathroom so much by not letting us have water bottles which is not right either.
