As a teacher imagine a classroom where students could use their cell phones for help instead of asking the teacher over and over. Most teachers say that cell phones are a distraction , but cell phones could be very useful in a classroom. Because cell phones could be used as a learning tool, would help students stay on schedule, and would be easy for students to access at all times, students should be able to bring cell phones to school. One reason why students should be allowed to bring cell phones to school is because they could be used as a learning tool. Usually teachers say that the use of cell phones during class can be a big distraction and lower students grades , but “Cell phones can help students do better in school. Kids can use them to look up information on the internet. There are also educational apps that make learning fun. Cell phones are not a distraction if used responsibly.”(gale database), this shows that cell phones in school are not always a distraction, but could be a big help to students. …show more content…
Students would be able to set reminders on their cell phones. This would help students stay on schedule and turn their work in on time. A final reason why the use of cell phones in school should be allowed is because it would be easy for students to access at all times. School devices are not allowed out of school, but students could bring their cell phones home or wherever to do their unfinished work. As a student with a cell phone I know that students keep their cell phones with them at all times, this allows students to be able to use them whenever they feel the need
