It has been proven that sports and athletics can benefit socially. Confirmation on the social assistance, (Kids and Sports Video) verifies that sports really do improve confidence in student athletes, and creates additional friendships. Confidence is proven to improve because of their performance in front of others. They also become armed with a multitude of life skills. Increased relationships with other student athletes is caused from interaction with your teammates. In addition to social improvement, sports can make it not as difficult to gain a college scholarship. It is proven that you can get a scholarship to a school for you can play sports because there is less students applying for a sport scholarship, then students applying for a standard academic scholarship. Most of the student athlete’s college will be paid for with the scholarship. If the student athletes won’t have to pay for college, then they can get out of student debt. It makes going to college not as difficult for the parents to pay for. …show more content…
Participating in sports can lead you to getting a scholarship and getting into a good college. Even though your time is taken up doing sports and you don’t have much time to do homework, students that participate in sports will do better in school than those that don’t participate in sports so that they are eligible to play. Other student athletes that play sports to will help encourage other students to do better with their grades, as stated by classroom synonym. research says that physical activity increased brain function and concentration levels, which can lead to higher grades as stated by classroom
