In other words, your muscles are made up of thousands of little protein fibers. When you work out the fibers get little tears in them, that is the feeling of soreness. They then heal and form back together to be stronger, usually within 48-72 hours. Steroids role in this process is speed up the healing process to 12-24 hours, steroids don’t automatically give you big muscles like many believe. Steroids are not some magic pill to make you look as if you were Arnold Schwarzenegger, they require work and weight training. In order to increase the effects, steroids require a healthy lifestyle, a healthy diet, and at least 8 hours of pure sleep with intense training. Lindsey Vonn could have been in the olympics but her ACL was injured during practice.
