That’s ridiculous and not only that, many college games such as the football national championship or March Madness gain viewers and fame on par or far greater than pro leagues such as the NFL and the NBA. College athletes should be able to earn some sort of money. The salaries should have a similar management to the NFL but a 75% decrease in money earned. The reason for the large decrease is to give some incentive to make it to the pros and obviously it’s more competitive in the pro leagues. For example, the players should earn money based on skill and what team they play on.…

They are growing up and need to learn how to live on their own without mom and dad sending them money all the time, there is not time for a job. While the college coaches are making six figures, these athletes are lucky to even get 100 dollars. Many argue that Paying these athletes would lose competitiveness of the sports but they are wrong because, many professional athletes get paid by their performance, so it’s a competition to be the best you can be so you can get paid at the most possible. The money that these athletes make for their school, doesn’t even contribute to their universities at all because if they did their would be more academic opportunities in america. I think it is important to pay these athletes because, many don’t have wealthy parents that can support them while they are in college, these athletes have no one to rely on.…
