Should Sports Be Allowed In Schools Essay

Sports are a big part of life, and now they are starting to question if they should be allowed in school. They say sports should be out of school activities and school is about learning not sports. Many say that sports are a big distraction to students because they worry more about sports then they do actual school, they do not realize that sports are a huge part of school. Many students rely heavily on after school sports because it’s what they love to do, sports provide life long memories and lifelong friends too. I think that sports should be allowed at school, because after all they are called student-athletes and student comes first.

Research also shows that former student-athletes tend to donate time and money more frequently that people who weren’t part of high school sport teams. Study also shows that former student athletes have more self-confidence, self-respect, and leadership traits because sports made them that way, sports made them team players and great people, as study shows former student-athletes do more than people who didn’t player high schools sports and they have more respectable traits. So in return that makes the people that play sports more respectable and more acceptable to hire because there personality is a lot better than the average person. They are better team players with their better personality traits.

So in return I believe that sports should not be banned from schools, because look at all the good traits that they give to people. Sports give people life time memories, life time benefits and great personality traits. If sports were banned from schools the players would be devastated because sports are part of their everyday lives and it’s what they love to do. So that is my personal opinion on why sports should not be banned from public schools in the united states and in other
