Situation like this have been happening very often since the ADA law was passed back in 2011. I believe dogs and miniature horses should not be the only service animals allowed in public places. Monkeys spend several years around humans, before beginning there actually service animal training. A service animal's education is not cheap. Tamrs Orr states in the article “Monkey Helpers”, “The cost of education for just one monkey is close to $40,000.” Monkeys train for up to 5 years to master simple tasks like opening a microwave, or flipping a page in a book.
My last reason why other unique animals should be able to go in public places is because they help people with disabilities like spinal issues, paralyzation, and deafness. Service animals help health impaired humans with daily tasks that people tend to take for granted. These animals help people flip pages in a book, put DVD’s in a DVD player, and many many more
