It’s a sunny day.I just had lunch and now it’s time for action.I have been sitting in a classroom all day without any activity and I’m stressed about the science test.Well guess what?It’s time to relieve that stress and get my bones out of slumber.We need to keep recess for many reasons.We need to keep recess because it’s great exercise for kids, it relieves stress that kids have in school, and it allows kids to make more friends.We need to keep recess as a part of kids’ schedules.

One reason we need to keep recess is because it’s great exercise for kids.One way it’s good exercise is because it helps kid’s from obesity, which many of their parents have.The kids’ parents are their cooks so they might not always being eating healthy so the activities kids do at recess will prevent them from becoming obese.IF a student doesn’t focus because they are to obese, they won’t do well in school.Another reason recess is good exercise is because the brain can focus more when the rest of the body is doing physical action.Lastly, it’s good exercise for kids because it powers their immune systems.

Another reason schools should keep recess is because it gives kids a break.One way kids get a break from school is it releases stress.By going outside and playing games and having fun it takes kids’ mind off tests or long, hard work.IF a student is student is to stressed for a test, they will fail without trying.Also kids’ brains process slower than adults’ so they need a break with recess to catch up on thoughts.Lastly, Dr.Olga quotes “Going outside to play helps increase a student’s
