Castiel is coming back and he is angrier than ever. After being used as Lucifer’s meat suit, Misha Collins, who plays Castiel, is back for revenge in Supernatural season 12. But will he be able to find Lucifer? After all, Rick Springfield is cast as Lucifer’s new vessel. How can he get close enough to a celebrity and kill him?

However, there are speculations that Supernatural season 12 is not happening, according to Game N Guide. The upcoming season renewal is facing some problems. As to what kind of problems, these are still unclear. However, the schedule for the premiere episode release stands firm.

Be that as it may, Castiel is going to get his revenge on Lucifer, in one way or another. And according to Misha Collins, he is getting his full power back. During the San Diego Comic Con 2016, Collins explain that the writers tried to control Cas in the previous seasons. “They didn't want him to be able to solve Sam and Dean's problems with the snap of his fingers all the time,” says Misha.

There is an expected family reunion with Mama Winchester back from the dead. This means that the season will surround a family-based theme. The interaction between the brothers and the newly living mother is essential. She has been dead for 33 years and the boys have lived without her. There will also be more hunting involved and the Comic Con panel spills that Mary Winchester joins the hunt. But what does Mary think about Sam and Dean hunting as legacies?
