Should Religion Be Able To Have Their Own Kids Or Adopt Kids?

“I am sorry, but we should not be together anymore because of our religion.” This single phrase is enough to kill those who are in love and can not imagine living a life without their partner. If it is assumed that love is everything, then religion should not create any difficulties between those who are in love and want to get married. Oh, how great that would be if this was what everyone believed. No, not everyone thinks like that and that will never happen because this is not an ideal world where everything is perfect. Even when someone is a little different from others, everyone starts treating that person like he/she is a piece of garbage (Nixon). If this world cannot accept a small difference like this, then how will it accept people with different religions living together and having or adopting kids? Everyone, including interfaith couples, should be able to have their own kids or adopt them. They might face some problems along the way, but every parent has difficulties with raising kids, it is their decision to have/adopt kids, and adopted kids want parents who love them. Religion does matter, yet it should not affect anyone’s happiness.

She was trying to tell everyone that love and honor are the most important things in raising kids. What’s the point of learning about religion or living with same-faith parents, if the kids’ are not taught how to respect and love those who are different? Sometimes, kids choose not to listen and do whatever they feel like and, in that case, same faith parents can’t be blamed (Kim Abraham and Marney Studaker-Cordner). Just like that, if interfaith couples’ kids don’t want to learn about religion and accept the fact that they are different, their parent’s should not be blamed
