1 (In the same region as public schools) With private schools being in the same region as public schools, each team is bound to play against each other. Many public schools have great athletic programs but many times they are no match for private school teams that have been hand picked to play for them.
Par. 2 (stacked teams) Private schools have been allowed to recruit players forever. The recruiting allows for teams to become stacked with great athletes and with the limited amount of students going out for sports at smaller, public schools, many teams cannot compete at their level.
Par. 3 (funding) Every year students have to pay a tuition to go to a private school, this is how they get their funding. Private schools have an advantage over all other schools due to the fact that they have more money allowing them to recruit athletes. Public schools don’t have the same advantage due to the fact that their students do not need to pay to enroll.
