Since 2005 the use of social media among adult population has increased drastically from 8 percent to 72 percent. With that in mind, about 70 percent of healthcare organizations are utilizing social media, especially Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and reaching consumers while influencing their choices and decisions (Ventola, 2014). Thus, it would be quite advantageous to promote important health care policy adopting the everyday use of media and electronic social networking.
