To keep our communities safer, officials should be able to check people’s social network accounts. For example, if a teenage posts a provocative picture on facebook there could be many horrible outcome. In the article Password Protected, Joseph Maneen said, “Young people need to learn that when you post something on the internet, there is a consequence.” A teenager who posts a provocative picture can influence good teens to become disappointments to the people who thought they were able to secure their behaviors. Or worse, the tennager could be malestid and taken away. The point is, checking a social network can change the lives of young people. …show more content…
If an officer or official checks a dealer’s phone, a tore down ragged community can become a wonderful place. In the article Phone Patrol, it says “The sheriffs took Diaz’s cell phone from his pocket and scrolled through the text messages. They found one linking Diaz to the sale.” If the officers wouldn’t have found the messages, they would have never found the link to the other dealers. With all drug dealers out of a community, there will be a better chance for other young children to become leaders and not be opened to the drug
