Should the minimum driving age be raised to 18?

The driving age should be raised to 18 because for teens safety. The driving age should be raised to a higher age like 18 because teens text on their phones while they are driving that puts them in danger and others. When teens get in a car wreck the number of car wrecks increases. Teens are not ready to drive because they go to party’s and drink then they drive drunk and that will lead them into a car wreck. Most teens want a car to drive but they do not know the consequences when you are driving a car. If the government raises the driving age there will be not that much car crashes and deaths.Teens are not ready to drive they make dumb decisions when it comes to driving. Teens do not have that experience to drive the car they need to know to pay attention when driving and what bad decisions not to make.
