Massage is defined as manipulation of soft tissues. Massage therapy is a practice of accredited professionals of massage to accomplish better health conditions and well-being including functional, physical and psychological consequences. As an associated health and alternative or complementary medicine practice, massage therapy includes several types of massages that are originating from Eastern and Western practices by using numerous additional modalities of therapy such as acupuncture, energy therapies, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, Rolfing and etc.
Massage is taking the position of medicine as an alternative solution or management of many diseases without consumption of medicine. Massage has been discussed as “the best form of therapy for people with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder” and it exposed a remarkable outcome for this disorder in many patients. Later paragraphs of this research paper will discuss the benefits of massage therapy as the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD).
