Also the more and more cannabis gets legalized the less prescription drugs people will have to take, which would be a great benefit because of all the harmful side effects they bring. However, the expanding use of prescription drugs directs me towards the comparison the author made when he compared the United States to Amsterdam when it comes to the increase in crime. Which that comparison cannot be made because of the fact that Amsterdam has legalized any drug which would make sense why their crime rate is at an all-time high. With the legalization of cannabis in the united states it would not only cause peace, but illegal drug trade would be put to rest and the crime rate would go down dramatically.
