Did you know that 5% of kids and teens get paid for doing their chores all over the world? All kids and teens should be paid for doing their chores. Chores help kids by teaching them responsibility at home, they'll become more self sufficient, and they'll learn to handle their money better. I want the 5% rating to bump up to 90% for all kids and teens getting paid for chores. To start off, responsibility is a big and important part of our everyday lives, and all kids should master it. In Megan's article, Should Kids Get Paid To Do Chores?, she claims that she'll wake up extra early, do the dishes, walk her dog, do her laundry, and make her bed and mow the lawn (3). All of that evidence shows a lot of responsibility that Megan promised, but is stepping up to take full responsibility in her near future. People with full on …show more content…
For example, don't you have a eye on an new phone you want? Or that new video game that you always want came out? You have to save up all that money to get it, not to mention do your chores. Kids and teens can learn to use their money wisely and make sure to do their chores every single day to earn that money. They should also get paid $5 a week, so they can save it up in the bank.

In conclusion, kids and teens should get paid for doing their chores. Think about all the responsibility they'll have and parents don't even have to remind their children about it! They'll be teaching themselves on taking responsibility at home, they will become more self sufficient, and they'll learn to handle their money better. Although some people say that they shouldn't get paid, that's their opinion. But here's a true statement, kids and teens should get paid. Next time when you go downstairs with nothing to do, remember what your chores are and do them, because a reward is coming your
