Should Kids Be Allowed To Have Technology In Schools

Bill Gates once said “The great thing about a computer notebook is that no matter how much you stuff into it, it doesn't get bigger or heavier.” Technology today has changed the world for the better. However, should kids be allowed to use their own technology at schools for education? The answer is plain to see. Kids should be allowed to use technology at school for educational purposes. It’s environmentally friendly, helps with assignments and school work, and cost for school supplies will be less.

First of all, laptops are the green machines. According to mailchimp Statistics, 20 million emails/day divided by 8,333 sheets of paper = 2,400 trees saved every day just by using email instead of paper-based marketing materials. This means that people send 20 million emails per day. According to Conservatree, a tree can make 8,333 sheets of paper. If emails save one page, then we save 2,400 trees in a day. In certain school districts, kids use a closed circuit monitored email that allows students to communicate with teachers and other students. Also, some school boards use Dropbox and google drive to send assignments as part of a paperless

He is right. Technology is a tool. It can be used for work and play. Schools are using technology more and more. Big Companies like Apple are creating software and devices dedicated and geared towards school. There are even more software’s like Edmodo, a closed circuit Facebook like social network for teachers to communicate with students, and MyHomework, an online agenda app for student to write down tests, papers, and reports for school. Lastly, kids prefer electronics over pen and paper. Many kids who have iPads and Laptops prefer to use those instead of paper for homework. this may be because kids are more attracted to LED and LCD Screens, or because there are many tools on computers. Either way, you're saving money on school supplies *doesn’t this relate to the next paragraph
