Some people have different opinions and think that juveniles should be held accountable for their actions. Mary Onelia has written many articles for student newspaper at the university of California in San Diego. She argued in the article Juveniles Should Be Tried as Adults in Certain Circumstances, “if you do and adult crime, you do the adult time.” People forget about the victims. People worry about the offender but don’t realize what the victims is going through. Onelia says in the article “They forget to put themselves in the position of the daughter whose Dartmouth parents were brutally stabbed in the head and chest by 16 and 17 year old boys. And sadly, naive America continues to lose more and more lives at the hands of reckless teens
