Should Johnny And Pony Boys Have Went To The Police?

Decent Essays
Introduction Paragraph-1
Johnny, and Pony-boy should not have ran away and hide in the church. Johnny, and Pony-boy should have went to the police, that way it would not be considered murder, but self-defence. What if someone started drowning your friend and it was 1 to 5 and one of them had a knife, what would you do let them beat you up and kill your friend, or kill one of them in self defence? In some people's opinion it was a good idea to run away instead of turning themselves in, and yes I do some what agree it could have been a better idea to run instead of turn themselves in.

Evidence Paragraph-3
In my view Johnny, and Pony-boy should have went to the police, because Johnny chose to kill bob in self-defence, instead of letting them kill Pony-boy,and possibly him. What if five guys came out and start attacking you with knifes at night in the park, and start drowning your friend and are fixing to kill him -you have a knife-, would you use the knife and kill one of the guy drowning your friend and run the others off or let your friend die and possibly you to.

Conclusion Paragraph-4
In some people's opinion it was a good idea for Pony-boy, and Johnny to run away and hide, instead of turning themselves in, and yes I do some what agree it could have been a better idea to run instead of turn themselves in, because back then the law was not that fare to the lower classes, like the low thug like middle class, and the low class. Others, me, will argue that it was a bad idea to run because it would, be considered a degree of murder, most likely Voluntary Manslaughter, and if they got a fair trial then they could have at maximum 10 years in prison which would not be so bad because they are young, unless they got killed in prison then it

In the story Our America, we’re trying to answer the question, are Tyrone and Johnny responsible for Eric Morse’s death? There is no right answer to this question since based on one's personal opinion and definition of responsibility. The universal definition responsibility is ”the opportunity or ability to act independently and make decisions without authorization.” In my opinion regarding this scenario responsibility matters because it's the answer to whether Johnny and Tyrone are guilty or not. Johnny and Tyrone have many reasons to be held responsible for the murder of Eric Morse, but because of the terrible influences that come from their neighborhood and people not putting in enough time to teach them right from wrong; they tried to…

This means that even if Ponyboy had tried to stand up to him, it would never work because he is not used to being said no to, and he is too use to that lifestyle. Getting into trouble is what the Greasers, Ponyboy’s friends, do, and they usually get “jumped” by Socs, Robert’s friends. Ponyboy’s friend, Johnny, was just using self-defense like many of the Greasers do if they get jumped by Socs. Although Ponyboy did run away, he is still innocent because he only did it to support his friend Johnny, who was the one that actually stabbed Robert.…

Therefore, I believe that they became a friends. Furthermore, if Teller and Joe are not friends or good relationship, Joe usually does not ask Teller to take Joe to the bus station.
