Although many people dislike you, I don’t think that you deserve so much hatred. Although you have undeniably said some controversial things. To be honest, your relationship with the media is terrible. This is due to the things you have said and how the media twisted or did not twist your words (not all media is evil).
First of all I want to talk about your immigration policy, because it is what most people associate you with. I agree that immigrants should not enter America through illegal methods. that would hurt the population who are recognized citizens . Although I do agree with some parts of the policy, there are still some flaws in it. An example of this would be, I think it is not "right" to just ignore immigrants fleeing from danger. Lets call it the “bus” video for the sake of pleasantries. I do agree that the president of the United States should not be saying things of that manner. I also do believe though, that nobody is perfect and that you said those words a long time ago. I hope you have learned not to treat women like that (which I hope you did, because you apologized). Many comedians of late night comedy have used this style of humor as shock value, and it is a mirrored style from many comics before them. But with the style more ruthless, it seems there is a lack of civility in comedy. Although many found the tweet is funny, others were outraged by the disrespectful remark. I think immigrants should not try to integrate their culture into American culture because the U.S is a diverse country, within the U.S, one can find all sorts of cultures from Chinese to Latin. The U.S was founded on the believe that people have a freedom of culture and religion; they should not be forced to adopt the American culture because they, the immigrant, have his/her own unique culture. The American culture and another culture, such as Chinese, can definitely coexist, “My relatives licked the ends of their chopsticks and reached across the table, dipping them into the dozen or so plates of food. Robert and his family waited patiently for platters to be passed to them.” The quote shows the Chinese family practicing their own culture,…
