As of 2010, there were an estimated twenty million illegal immigrants living in the United States. That number only goes up every year.(procon.org) Some illegal immigrants have done harm, but some have done good by not doing anything. It is a problem though. President Donald Trump has recently passed an order to ban immigrants from a list of countries from coming to the U.S. period, therefore it must be a problem. Illegal immigration should be stopped because the immigrants are taking the lower income starter jobs, they bring a possible terrorist threat with them, and they are directly violating our country’s laws.

In a seven year period from 1999 until 2006, there were illegal aliens responsible for sex crimes in thirty six different states. Most of them were in the states with the highest number of illegal immigrants. (procon.org) No matter what anybody has and could say, removal is the only option for illegal immigrants. They are already here illegally, so they have no incentive to obey the law of America. They have no reason because they have already committed a big crime in coming illegally. “In the [2005 U.S. Justice Department] population study of 55,322 illegal aliens, researchers found that they were arrested at least a total of 459,614 times, averaging about 8 arrests per illegal alien.” (procon.org) Without the illegal aliens in our country, there would be far less crimes. Illegal immigrants cause more problems for America whenever another one enters the country. They bring with them a destabilizing economy, terrorist threat, and unlawful actions. By letting them into America without any repercussions like deportation, they will continue to enter America and nothing will get done. This issue must be resolved soon or nothing good can or will happen.
