Should Illegal Immigrants Be Changed

I am a seventh grader, who is currently attending Warren Junior High. I am working hard and hope to fulfill my dream of becoming a prominent figure in the medical field. In order to fulfill my dream, I am going to try hard to gain admittance to UCLA. A question that has been troublesome for me is should it be legal for illegal immigrants to commit crimes and go back to their homeland? Is it suitable for illegal immigrants to help America when they are not even American citizens? This is what has been happening in America for the past several years.
