One goal that I have for myself is to go to college. I want to go to school to be a diesel mechanic. This is something I have always wanted to do. Growing up I always had that as my dream career and I have never thought different. I love working on engines, especail the diesel type. I have lived on a farm all my life and have been around heavy machinery all my life as well, so it is one of those things that is just in my blood. I have worked on tractors and trucks before, but I would like to get knowledge on them in order to fix more internal problems with the engine and all the other parts that make up the machine. I know I have my own tasks to do, but I know that the other person does too. Sometime the job that the other person is doing is hard and I know it is because I have done it before and knowing that two people working together will make it easier, then I am willing to help. Another weakness I have is that I am very critical of my work. I am the kind of person that works for perfection and pays very close attention to the little details about everything. I am not the kind of person who is always super organized, but when I am building something or working on a project, I pay attention to details and make sure the it is the way I visioned it. But with my weaknesses, I also have many strengths. For example, I am very skilled in many different things. I have learned how to do many different types of work as well as different traits. I also have a good work ethic. I have worked long days in the fields of Northeast Nebraska and know what a hard day 's work is. I know how to push myself in order to get tasks done and also finish in the proper manner. Finally, I pay attention to detail. I feel that the little bit more effort that you put into things is the difference between good and great. I strive to put my best foot forward when performing any task and hope to achieve my best every time and also improve every time I repeat that …show more content…
At school, I strive to for excellence. I push myself to do my best everyday and try to put off a positive attitude. I show respect to everyone and I am polite as well. I show my best when I am around people so that if I am a role model to anyone that I am leading the best example it can. I also show leadership in organizations. For example, I am the treasure of our towns FFA chapter. At this position, I am in charge of the finances of the organization. I have to be responsible and trustworthy. As one of the leading officers of the FFA, I am also advised to be great leaders. I am one of the members who are incharge of the chapter and we have to make the decisions that affect all of the members in the chapter. Another example is that I am the President of my local 4-H club. As the president, I am the one who is looked up to. I am the one that younger members look to for advice and as an example of what members should be like. I have to be professional at all times in order to handle business correctly, but also so that future member know how to act when they become one of the members who is selected for this
