The majority of the time homework seems to cause stress in students , some causes for this is some subjects are extremely challenging or some require a great great time investment it that subject that it makes it extremely difficult for students to not complete other homework assignments , this seems to put a lot of pressure on students .Homework assignments should be banned now that it causes students to be stressed and often takes time away form family. Teachers are finding that a great amount of students seem to not complete homework assignments due to various reasons and often go through frustration of students who do or will not complete the homework , “46 to 68 percent receive homework more frequently from English and Math”(Article …show more content…

asides from homework , so why do teachers give out tons of homework ?. Yes practice makes perfect but in reality it’s only there to cause stress from having a lot of homework and sometimes while doing that homework students might not be able to concentrate fully since their mind is also in the other assignments they still have to complete. Students stress can be preventable if teacher lower the amount of homework to them each day , furthermore if less homework is given out there's more chances of spending the rest of the day with their families not only that but it’ll also help increase their test scores since they’ll have more time to study and be well prepared , rather than having to other homework assignments and also study afterwards
