Should High Schools Offer Plan To Graduate Early

If you had the chance to achieve a higher education at an earlier point in life would you take it? School takes a quite a while to complete and it can get particularly tiresome. Generally as humans we want everything immediately because we live a fast pace life and education is no exception. Some might even ask what opportunities to accelerate academically do we have? Sam Dillon (2017) stated “Dozens of public high schools in eight states… will introduce a program next year allowing 10th graders who pass a battery of tests to get a diploma two years early and immediately enroll in community college.” in “High schools to Offer Plan to Graduate Early”. Even though high school students are young they should be given the chance to graduate two years early for it allows them to get a head start in life, it reduces the number of students who need remedial courses in college, decrease the amount of college dropouts and allows further academic growth. …show more content…
For many students high school is where they slack off the most, and usually they need an incentive to push forward and reach higher.
