Should High School Students Prepare For College

The majority of high school freshman in Saint Paul’s and across the country finds that they are unprepared for college, nevertheless this remains a top priority for them. This survey reveals an uncomfortable amount of uncertainty among SPS students in how to prepare for college. I’ve asked several classmates about what they expect in their future and what they desire. I ascertained a response all of you can relate to. Parents, pushing their children to be the best people they can be, moreover the most successful. The data I’ve collected displays most third formers parents encourage the idea of going to college, however, the students themselves are unaware of where the college would lead them and what they wish to pursue professionally.

Finding strengths and weaknesses in the institutions, and trying to find a school tailored to your specific interests are going to be harder and harder to find the less time you have to look. It is of high importance that you spend lots of time researching for colleges that match you the best, taking into consideration the fact that there is more than one “right” school. Having the time to study and really look into the institutions themselves is a very important part of the college process, if not the most important.
