Should Gun Laws Be More Strict The 1791 Constitutional second amendment of the United States of America allowed that people can have the capability to keep and bear firearms (Spitzer). Gun laws and restrictions are different in various states across America and also among other countries. Some countries do not even allow anybody to own a gun unlike in America where the second amendment allow the people of USA to own guns. Nevertheless, there has been controversies and discussions for a long period to make gun laws stricter while others claim that guns should be taken away. Nevertheless, the gun laws are not all the same in all the States in America. For instance, in North Carolina, gun laws state a variety of limitations on acquiring or buying a firearm. These laws are different in various states. The key issues that stand out here are opinion and the safety. Every person has their opinion regarding the gun control laws, and it is these opinions that drive them to either support or go against the topic. In my opinion, the gun laws that exist are effective but not effective enough. If they were 100% effective, then cases such as the Aurora shooting would not have happened. The people who were killed in the shooting would still be alive and well. Gun laws that are not strict undermine the safety of the citizens and people in the surrounding. Therefore, to bring about safety in the environment, gun control laws should be made stricter. Works Cited
