American’s have the right to own a gun by following the right procedure in the United State. The gun control have been discussed in the last few years. The hot topic discussing that should we banned the right to own a gun as functional protection. Few people who owns a gun have few committing of violent crimes which like school shooting, suicide, and homicide in America. As the number of gun holder increasing, the number of death rate increasing every year. For this horrible issue, there are four main reasons to support banned gun which including gun violence, mental health, second amendment, and the bad of self-protection. These two shooting events show us how terrible when we have right to own a gun, people can use gun to shot people whenever they like. How many shootings you have been heard about and how any school shooting since school shooting at Sandy Hook? People who has mentally illness has been consider the dangerous group that “people of group consider so dangerous or embarrassing or irritating that they bring special sanction to bear against the person (pg. 83). What is the relationship between gun control and mental illness? In the ECOSO scholar journal, Gun Control and Mental Illness by Verma Aditi mentions, “gun control and provisions for mental health in the U.S, the ethical aspect of gun control and such provisions can affect the balance between individual privacy and societal safety” (pg. 6). In the United States, it is not hard to own a gun by following the process: meet the age requirement, pass test, and back group check. Although the United States have the rule to own a gun, but there is still big chance to own a gun who still has mental illness. The people who has mental illness won’t tell people that they are sick. In fact, they will talk, act, and feel as a normal person try to buy a gun. If they don’t pass the test to buy a gun, they still able to buy a gun from the black market. Since America has the right to sold gun, some of the evil people sale illegal gun to make benefits. If we banned gun, it helps reduce the chance of them to make mistake and take less risk to

According to The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act convicted felons, drug users and abusers, and mentally ill people are prohibited from purchasing or possessing firearms (FBI). But, convicted criminals and mentally ill people are acquiring firearms without any difficulty and are using them for the wrong reasons mainly because of weak laws that regulate the sale of firearms.
