The Government tries to tell people what that they can and cannot do when it comes to food stamps. This is not fair to the people who use SNAP Assistance clearly telling people what they can and cannot buy with SNAP Assistance is nonchalant. The United States government should not be able to tell people what they could buy with their SNAP because it is unconstitutionalize. SNAP Assistance is a government controlled program that helps low-income Americans put food on the table, providing benefits that are timely targeted,and temporary. SNAP beneficiaries receive what looks like a debit card, with which they pay in supermarkets. While SNAP Assistance is a very good food program families have difficult nutritional needs. It is valuable that the government shouldn’t control the nutrients people choose to buy. This is unnecessary because the percentage of obese children in America are 35.7 percent about a million people have sugar diabetes. Families have different needs! some families have obese adults and children with diabetes (Dewitt 1). This is very harmful conditions for a human. Some people are born with these various conditions instead of gaining this condition over time. People usually lose this condition over time and some constantly suffer with these conditions over time. So yes, it is important that people need nutrition but is it necessary no. Some people may buy this nutritional food, but that doesn't mean they will actually eat it. people choose to eat what they want to eat. So therefore, that mean if these people are forced to buy something they don’t eat it will go to waste. So would you rather this food goes to the people who will actually eat it or to people who are just buying it because you said so. Individuals or families choosing solely from healthful benefits plan wouldn't always enjoy the so called excellent nutrition plan.
