The source is from an individualist point of view, and favors capitalism heavily. The source states that individuals are by nature unequal, because they are unique, and that the state should not interfere with the lives of these individuals. This source is a rejection of Liberalism because it completely rejects the idea of equality. The source states that left sided systems, are restrictive systems because they restrict people's freedom and rights to be unique and individual. The government should not be so worried about the funds, and tax dollars we are paying to support and uplift those in need, but that they have a moral obligation to lend a hand; and to defend their constitutional right of safety, and their right to equal opportunity. Socially, placing restrictions on individuals, such as legislating against hate speech, in order to protect others rights is a necessary evil as there are many in society whose beliefs include the harm of other citizens, without laws and restrictions on their personal freedoms, the safety and mental well-being of these other citizens would be jeopardized. Just a short while ago Prime Minister Justin Trudeau personally welcomed a planeload of refugees to Canada, Syrian nationals. This move was criticized by many Canadian citizens, some took it even further to the point of death threats, and without the laws we have in place to protect these immigrants, their lives could have been in danger. Because our government does not allow violent acts of racism to go unpunished, hate groups are not, and in this case were not, enabled to act out against minorities, and this group of immigrants. In other countries, this is not the case, and racism runs violently rampant. Thankfully hate groups such as the KKK, are not allowed to walk our streets assaulting the nearest aboriginal person, and pro-life groups have no power to actually force women to not have abortions. If the government did not make these laws to prevent nearly every kind of discrimination, Canada would not, and could not be as accepting, and live up to our reputation or compassion and tolerance. These laws are looked at by some, as restrictions that inhibit them from
