Should Government Have The Right To Lie Research

It it actually good to know the truth about your country? It is actually bad to lie even if people say it is? Most people can agree that people do want to know the truth, but is it really good for them? Some governments around the world do lie to their citizens, on the other hand, some do not. The term propaganda is often used to promote political cause or point of view which is what some governments do use. Governments should have to right to lie to their citizens because it could be for the benefit a whole entire country.

The ability of a government being allowed to lie to its citizens has many results, one of which is to keep society stable. A stable society has happy people, housing, schooling, and jobs. They have enough money to support a country, with basic needs and possibly more. The government should have the right to lie and hide things from their citizens. China has blocked websites with information that may cause instability. This is a great solution to a more stable society. For example, the Chinese government has a firewall to block websites that have unnecessary information. Rumors may be going around the city or country about the government, however, if the government lies, then there would be no rumors and the government would get to stay in power. All governments want to stay in power, which is good because there would be no one fighting against the government causing a commotion.
